When I moved the HDD from the dead machine I did not adjust the static dhcp settings in the network admin tool (online) to reflect the change in MAC address. The result was that the machine got a different IP address and was unable to distribute files to student stations. I changed the static dhcp setup in the nets DB (to listen for the new MAC address), but due to the 90 minute release template on the DHCP server we need to wait until the 90 minutes are up. Fingers crossed.
