Data rescue

Posted by gregster on 12 Dec 2007 in Activity log
Had someone drop in with a data rescue request. Files stored on old floppies were inaccessible on a modern machine. With some advise from Greg F. I got the files in to my virtual Mac (Basilisk II) and open in my virtual Word 5 install, saved them as RTF and emailed them off. I didn't finish them due to the number of files, so I'm going to poke away at them over the next few days.
