Seven machines from the Clearihue student computing labs are being allocated to us for replacements in our labs. I spoke to Marc Thoma about the arrangements and it doesn't look like we can get our hands on enough machines to outfit one lab even. The replacement cycle will not happen for at least one year so we'll probably not be able to deploy a whole lab of castoffs any time soon. I also discussed the particulars with Paul and Jessica. I'll be taking the 7 and deploying them carefully and only as necessary as it will obviously create the need for two builds and I'd like to avoid that as long as possible.
