Worked through various ways of producing the desired layout (nested fieldsets and a holly-wood credits type two-column layout). Then sat down with Judy and looked at pros and cons of each approach and settled on the one to use, then started porting existing form elements into that. Had to create a couple of classes and a about 10 css rules which we put into their own applicationform.css file. Judy and I worked on the first three sections which included samples of all the form elements we'd need except a text area. She will implement the remaining six sections and then we can test it.
