1.50 hours: Wendat: Implemented and tested a range of Schematron constraints for gram attributes based on previous discussions with ML.
0.50 hours: Maint: Checked into the state of HCMC Oxygen license use now that the labs are going to reopen, and contacted RAs who are currently using licenses.

0.50 hours: MoEML: Diagnosis and fix for overnight build break related to newly-added measure element not available in TEI Lite.
6.75 hours: LEMDO: Meeting with JJ to discuss urgent issues; worked through process of converting linked apparatus from TLN to TEI links, and added documentation; worked through some examples of cleaning up fallout from that, then completed the rest myself and passed the fixed files back to editors; added a new document status for brand-new Modern files not yet expected to conform to Schematron, and tweaked Schematron rules to account for it; reworked a lot of bibl-related code to include BEED1 file alongside BIBL1 and PROD1; added a temporary workaround for the loss of the Nashorn JS engine in Java, which breaks a couple of things in our build; started research on using Groovy instead of JavaScript as a scripting language in Ant build files.

3.75 hours: BCHT: Meeting for handover of project from GL to HCMC oversight; set up Jenkins job and debugged failures; fixed a bunch of things in the repo, some based on file system capitalization issues from Windows; got set up in Teams; various discussions over locations for media etc.
0.25 hours: DVPP: Research into history of apparent missing image for AC. Looks like the image was never there, not that it was deleted.
1.00 hours: Endings/staticSearch: Reworked the splash loading popup to make it match the searching message; tested and merged a pull request from JT.

2.25 hours: TEI: Weekly meeting with SB to work on tickets; also raised another couple of tickets and fixed a couple of things in the spec files spotted through staticSearch work and work on BCHT.
2.00 hours: MoEML: Work on the text output ticket: first figuring out what was being used and what wasn't in the XSLT, then rewriting a bunch of it to enable more flexible testing by providing docsToBuild at the command line in line with other processes; changed the selection criteria for texts to transform based on consultation with JJ.
2.00 hours: BCHT: More discussion/consultation on media storage and licensing; dived into the build process to sort out the duplicate schema problem, get the Schematron XSLT build working, fix some encoding issues, replace Saxon, and a few other tweaks and clarifications. Closed a couple of tickets and raised another.
0.50 hours: Various discussions around resources and planning for tile server, disk space, and other resources for upcoming grant applications.

I discovered that my code wasn't filtering htaccess (and similar) artifacts that end up on a live server so I've updated it to accommodate. I've also added a cron job to automatically run the script each month.
Note that documentation for the wrapper is available in the README included in the codebase.

2.00 hours: Scancan: Encoded French version of introduction, and added French abstracts to all articles for vol 28; reported a couple of questions and issues to HT.
0.75 hours: Maint: Jenkins server went down, with Apache unable to get a response from the Jenkins process. A reboot and some tweaks to virtual host file and removal of a potentially problematic plugin seem to have solved it.
1.00 hours: DVPP: Meeting with ALHS and JJ re facsimiles and msDesc encoding.
2.00 hours: DVPP: Abstracting duplicated code as I get back into poem rendering work; fixes for broken image links; planning meeting with AC.
1.50 hours: Endings/DHQ: First part of review of another paper.

3.00 hours: BreezeMap: Working on support for custom icons for categories. First part (encoding and transforming info into JSON/JS) is now working; what remains is the rendering portion, which turns out to be tricky because of the way category rendering is handled right now.
0.75 hours: Maint: Experimenting (unsuccessfully) with Gnome Boxes as a possible replacement for VirtualBox.

2.50 hours: MoEML: Prep for project meeting, project meeting, implemented new prefixDef along with processing and Schematron, tested and committed.
2.50 hours: BreezeMap: Discussions with GN about possible feature requests and suitability for whales project; more planning on how to pass category information to the style-generating feature. This may require a major rewrite, but it would probably be a good thing.
0.75 hours: Endings/DHQ: Meeting and discussion with other editors; some re-reading of submissions.
1.25 hours: TEI: More work on review of long jTEI article.

1.50 hours: LEMDO: Research and fix weird bug in rendering of long bibliography: Chromium-based browsers cap grid rows and columns at 1000, and after that just render a messy black blob. Had to rework as tables.
2.00 hours: TEI: Stylesheets working group meeting, prep and follow up on tickets.
1.25 hours: Maint: Research on new desktop purchase, and monitoring to see what maxes out in my current setup (it's CPU).
2.00 hours: BreezeMap: Finally figured out a decent approach to rendering custom icons, and then did some additional enhancement, cleanup and documentation.

1.25 hours: TEI: Weekly meeting with SB; created TEI wiki page for our initial plans for an ODD processor.
0.25 hours: Scancan: Encoding tweak for italics per HT.
3.50 hours: LEMDO: Dug into the thorny issue of local citation pointers and how they should interact with the assp number/id system we've settled on. Fixed a problem which was removing required anchors during the build; wrote a first implementation of processing the pointers themselves, as well as generating link text representing the pointed-at location.
1.00 hours: BreezeMap: Research into clustering in the API documentation, and discussions with GN about integrating this, switching from shapes to points at specific zoom levels, and so on.
0.75 hours: MoEML: Wrote documentation for the new molshows prefix, and investigated options for get-next-id tool for encoders (which it turns out will need to wait for a repo reorg, so that the redirects are available). Added a semi-closed valList for @xml:lang along with Schematron to catch most common error.
0.25 hours: DVPP: On AC's instructions, published the latest version of the site to the live server.

I've written a wrapper for GoAccess to process the logs produced for the 30ish project sites that we're watching.
Today I deployed it to the server and ran a wrapup task that will bring all of our reports up to date.
Next month I'll see how it works when run from a cron job.

Including interactive maps in Humanities projects has become quite common, making the discovery and storage of spatial data an integral part of a project’s workflow. As most of our Geo-Humanities projects store spatial data in TEI XML, Vertexer has been created to generate data formatted (using TEI XML or GeoJSON) for easy insertion in to an external document.

2.00 hours: Endings/staticSearch: Handled issue 153, to allow HTML authors to use any HTML element in their search page, rather than being constrained to a div. Fixed some other minor annoyances at the same time.
1.00 hours: Wendat: Further progress on the schema for reconstruction.
1.25 hours: Endings/DHQ: Finished first read/comment of JM submission.
2.00 hours: Endings/staticSearch: Took a deep dive into the out-of-memory error issue when building reports (issue 157), and implemented a workaround that should get us past the problem for the moment. Fixed a couple of other annoyances such as doubled trailing slashes on paths and missing documentation blocks.
0.50 hours: Despatches: Checked TODO list, fixed layout of search page explanation, and corrected some encoding errors and typos.

2.00 hours: DVPP: Scramble to figure out why MySQL dumps of the db were out of date; eventually it turned out to be a web server caching issue, now mitigated by turning off timestamp checking at download time and just getting the file. Refreshed metadata in one journal per AC.
1.75 hours: Endings/staticSearch: Cleanup of old tickets, and implementation of issue 156 for a splash screen to handle the slightly longer load times for sites with typeahead filters. Added documentation for yesterday's work.
1.75 hours: BreezeMap: Refactored the work on pan/zoom on the timeline, after some discussions with GN, completed the ticket, and merged the work into dev.
2.00 hours: Wendat: Testing new reconstruction schema with ML, and follow-up work; project meeting.

3.50 hours: LEMDO: Completed initial work on ticket to provide processing-instructions that cause the generation of documentation tables from taxonomies, charDecls and listPrefixDefs. Project meeting. Fix for problem with links in documentation in LEMDO anthology; documentation for programmers and documenters regarding PIs; a couple of bug fixes.

0.50 hours: Keats: Following discoveries in Wendat project build process, inserted reference to tei module in order to get teidata / XML Schema datatypes working properly; renamed a bunch of models and macros to avoid name collisions with TEI.
1.25 hours: LEMDO: Implemented requested Schematron rules and tested for unwanted fallout; fixed some, but left tickets for the remainder, which will require remediation.
1.25 hours: MoEML: Created tiled and zoomable map for MoEML team, relearning previous procedures using vips. Used the latest OL, which worked fine using code based on a previous Landscapes version.
0.25 hours: DVPP/ColDesp: Trying to debug reported slow SVN connection for GL, refreshed the metadata in a couple of periodicals and did some digging on the svn server. No joy. Must be a problem between campus and user.
1.00 hours: ProD: Reading up on planned obsolescence of JS alert/confirm, and CSS viewport measure changes coming down the pipe.
