Successfully established a connection in Contribute using http://web.uvic.ca/~athena, so I could edit pages. However, I could not assign an administrator, as Contribute told me it could not find a "guard page". Tried various experiements, and Contribute is finding things in the web directory in that account no problem, but is not finding things in the www directory. I suspect problem may be with the url containing a tilde, or with the fact that the web folder already contains the _mm folder used by Contribute, though I have no idea why either would be a problem.

I'll wait until Joe (webadmin@uvic.ca) changes the symbolic link so that I can use the url web.uvic.ca/grs/ to point to the www folder in Contribute. That change by Joe will likely mean that the current contribute configuration they are using will fail, as it is expecting web.uvic.ca/grs to point to the web directory in athena, not the www directory.
