Bermondsey Manor

According to Stow, Bermondsey Manor was within the bounds of Bermondsey Abbey, to which William Rufus gave his manor in 1094 (Stow 1598, sig. Z4r). In 1550, Edward VI sold the manor to the Corporation of London (Stow 1598, sig. Z5r; Howard and Godfrey 1–8).
