0.25 hours: Update Jenkins servers.
1.25 hours: HCMC: Staff meeting.
0.75 hours: Timesheet gathering and submission.
4.75 hours: Setting up new desktop computer and installing and testing everything required, including migrating old HDD and solving the multi-monitor problem.

Wednesday 2022-01-05
0.25 hours: Update Jenkins servers.
1.50 hours: More software installs and configuration work on the new desktop.
4.25 hours: DVPP: Build and release of new version of site per AC; setting up new timesheet for NM who is migrating from workstudy to grant-funded; starting documentation of distinctions between incidental and substantive style features. Discussion of all these issues with AC and with TEH, who will be working on the project.

Thursday 2022-01-06 (working from home; snow day)
0.25 hours: Update Jenkins servers.
1.00 hours: Timesheet shenanigans, as an RA transitions from WS to grant-funded in the middle of a pay-period, and Google Docs borks a timesheet.
0.75 hours: Endings/staticSearch: reviewed pull request from JS on search-in feature and merged; added French caption supplied by CC.
4.00 hours: Working with TEH on figuring out what changes will need to be made to the encoding of poem titles to handle the fact that literal capitals have been transcribed for almost all titles, while capitalization is in fact incidental and will need to be off by default. This is complicated, and we're only just figuring out how hard it's going to be.
0.50 hours: Maint: Testing of Mariage on new web cluster, and discussion with LW on process for migration. I think I understand it better now.

0.25 hours: Update Jenkins servers.
0.75 hours: Maint: Installing more software required on desktop; failed attempt to install MS Endpoint Defender, which fails because MS has not released required libs for Ubuntu 21.10; reported in detail to the Helpdesk.
1.75 hours: VIHistory: Meeting with GN to look again at locations and discuss structure of output files and header metadata now that we have "search in" function available in staticSearch.
2.50 hours: DVPP: More work on incidental stuff, especially small-caps and other cap-related issues. Updates to TEI metadata to bring Good Words up to date with many db changes.
2.00 hours: LEMDO: Fix for rendering issues in collations; schema updates for lem element; fixes for bad URLs in documentation; team meeting.
