JM wrote to describe a situation in which the same title number is associated with two different properties, in which case a new record is required in the Titles table, with only its id differing from the original. This could be a accomplished through a "clone record" function, which would create a new record, but populate it with data from an existing record. It's not a simple process -- I estimate about four to five hours with testing -- and I don't have the time right now. I'm still waiting for word on how often this situation will arise; if it's only a handful of times, then it's not worth the new feature (unless we think it's a good idea for other reasons), but if it's going to be hundreds of times, then it's probably worth it, and I could schedule the work for August.
