Oysterhill

Henry Harben describes Oysterhill as being in the parish of St. Magnus, adjoining Bridge street… Probably the lane leading up from the river from Oystergate and Old London Bridge and sometimes itself called Oystergate (Harben 454). Victor Belcher and Martha Carlin note that Oysterhill was also known as Osterhull (Carlin and Belcher 82).
