10. ‘Interesting things’

Sometimes you may want to tag a span of text just because it's intriguing or interesting in some way, or relates to a discussion the project team may be having or should be having. You can do this by using <seg type="interesting">, and you may also use the subtype attribute to provide a one-word explanation of why you tagged the phenomenon:

This sort of tagging is of course considered provisional, and we would expect to revisit these cases and devise formal transcription and tagging patterns to handle them. Below is the current list of such forms in our texts.
