Thinking ahead to how we might implement a rudimentary search in Japanese for the Monument site, I create a ticket layout out a mechanism by which an external tokenizer might be plugged into the staticSearch codebase. After doing that, I triaged other tickets, and managed to create PRs for four of them, including HTML validity issues, fixes for documentation rendering, removing obsolete files, and adding a search link to the documentation output pages. Good progress, now that we are free to work in dev without wondering whether fixes should be ported to the 1.4 release branch.
