Picnic Dinner at Butchart Gardens

Tuesday August 12 - 6:00 pm - 9:30 pm

Enjoy a lovely evening at world famous Butchart Gardens. Take a guided double-decker bus ride from UVic up the scenic Saanich Peninsula to the Gardens. Event includes the guided bus to and from the gardens, picnic dinner, entrance to the Gardens and entrance to the Butchart Stage Show.

Cost $32 US.

Walking Tour of Downtown Victoria

Thursday August 14 - 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

After a day of conferencing, take a stroll with historian Geoff Bird and his group of experienced guides through Victoria's harbourside. This tour, offered in English and Japanese, will give you insights into the making of Victoria. It will also introduce you to some great shopping and eating spots! Make this the start of an evening on the town.

Cost $10 US. Includes shuttle transport to downtown and vouchers for public transport back.

UVic Ramble

Monday August 11 - 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Ramble through UVic's extensive gardens with a member of the horticultural society. Take a few minutes to find out why Victoria really is the "City of Gardens". Also - you can find your way around campus.

No cost for this, but indicate your interest on the registration form.
