FLEAT III
Registration Information

FLEAT III Conference Program

FLEAT III is the third in a series of jointly sponsored conferences focusing on Education, Language Learning and Technology. The FLEAT III sponsoring organizations IALL (International Association for Learning Laboratories) and LLA (Language Laboratory Association) of Japan, have worked hard to put together a conference that is international in scope, with speakers from around the world. However, it is you, the FLEAT III delegate, who will make this conference more than the sum of its parts.

Languages, Resouces, Cultures

FLEAT III will have over 80 sessions covering the gamut of technology in foreign language teaching and study. Sessions range from full and 1/2 day workshops on multimedia authoring, World Wide Web development, and Lab Management and Design issues, to panels on future watch issues for language professionals and lectures on the type of questions we might ask about technology and teaching. Roundtables and demonstrations are also scheduled - as are daily demos of all software discussed during lectures that day.

Vendors are a big hightlight at FLEAT III. A vendor mall will be set up right in the middle of the main conference venue. FLEAT III would also like to thank our special sponsors - Sony, Tandberg, and Sounds Virtual (CAN-8) - because each of these groups are providing delegates with lunches as well as hands-on opportunities to work with the latest in language learning hardware and software.
