The Canadian Mysteries project has asked HCMC to produce a DVD with a few media clips on it for submission to an award agency. The clips were diverse (flv, mp3 etc.) and required some effort to gather in to a coherent bundle for a DVD.
I first converted everything to DV format, then brought everything in to iMovie, edited the clips and exported them as m4v files. I then imported them to iDVD.
If there is a lesson here, it's use de-muxed media, as muxed files are a pain to export with the tools we have.
