On Monday, did a deep dive into the issue of the mysterious discrepancy in search results
on the live site versus the dev build, and eventually figured out that the problem is in
staticSearch; when we moved from 1.4 to 2, there was some confusion about whether the
stemmers
folder was understood as the base for any stemmer configured in the
config file, or whether it needed to be explicitly set. This is now issue #391 on staticSearch,
and a PR is in place. Meanwhile, I built a dist from the bugfix branch and copied it into
Wendat, and the results now match.
On Tuesday, met with ML and worked through some of the TODOs, then prioritized the others. Then created a version of Potier 1745 ready for translation by MP, and tweaked the build process so that it’s not processed yet.
