Early in the week I did a little thinking about how we might transition from the old encoding with alternants to the new based on hyphs, and although initially I thought we might ditch the old stuff and start again, I’m now inclined to introduce the new encoding alongside the old, so we can see how the two relate in specific entries.
On Friday, ahead of our meeting, I started work on the schema implementation, and this raised a bunch of questions which I sent to ML. Then we worked through options and refined the plan from last week in our meeting.
