Had a closer look at the new potential dataset which is reported to be fewer than 5,000 records, which should be manageable. Also had a discussion with PD on whether this should be a separate dataset or should be merged with the existing 1901 data, and I think we’re going to come down on making it a distinct dataset, but searchable through the same single search page (PD was originally asking for a separate search page, which I think is a bad idea and part of the problem with the old site).
