On Monday, worked on some diagnostics issues and GH tickets, starting the
work of normalizing annotation author <respStmt>s and adding
a diagnostic for that.
On Tuesday, fixed a diagnostic that was too sensitive to spaces.
On Wednesday, met with the team to discuss rendering of speeches which
share a typographical line in semi-dip texts; the preliminary decision was
that we will probably stop trying to fit them on the same line, and instead
render them on separate lines, but retain line-numbering based on the typography,
by adding <lb type="editorial"/> instead of
<lb type="wln" n="xxx"/>; IN will investigate possible
consequences of such a change. Meanwhile, we also discovered that there is no
<valList> for <lb>/@type,
so I investigated the consequences of this, and ended up creating a diagnostic
for the errant cases found.
On Thursday, did some more work on the issue of empty <supplied>
elements, and dug a little deeper into the XSLT that numbers lines, obsoleting
one of two files purporting to do the same job.
On Friday, debugged an issue with Schematron rules, and raised a ticket to rationalize/combine several into one.
