Over the weekend and on Monday, continued working through the external links lists, running them through the link checker, fixing the redirects myself, and leaving the 404s, 500s etc. for the editors to check via GitHub issues. Got them all finished by the end of the afternoon.
On Wednesday, did some consultation with MG over build breaks and validity issues.
On Thursday, NH reported an issue with the A-Z index generator, whereby it was excluding some ids. This turned out to be caused by an ancient predicate designed to exclude ids generated by XSLT, which I don’t believe we need any more. While fixing this, I also cut down the number of ids significantly by excluding any which are in emd* files, but are not on the root element; those ids are enforced to be extensions of the root id anyway, so Oxygen will catch them.
On Friday, worked on a Schematron issue (#426) to create a better version of the rule which would surface the exact location of a duplicate id.
