On Monday, debugged an issue with favicons, which turned out to be caused by QME never having acquired any favicons of its own. PS supplied these.
On Tuesday, had some discussions with BGH and IN about the Ben Jonson texts which will need to be imported into LEMDO, which will include not only plays but poems; did some digging into the structure of those files, which turn out to be single-file TEI documents incorporating all annotations and collations.
On Wednesday, worked on a ticket relating to signature citation, and had a close look at the contents of a historical CD-ROM containing some useful materials which it looks like we could rescue from their 1990s format into something useful, but not without a lot of work. Then worked on some diagnostics, and raised a ticket proposing that we make the use of the non-breaking space invalid.
On Thursday, polished off three tickets: removing the sig
prefix from
signature citations, removing non-breaking spaces, and adding a diagnostic for
missing speaker elements.
On Friday, ported the new diagnostic over to the text-level diagnostics as well, since it’s something that editors should see as they work.
