On Monday, posted two sets of facsimile images on the server for NH.
On Tuesday, worked on GitHub issue #116, and submitted a fix which will work, but might have unexpected fallout we’ll have to watch out for. Also zipped up some videos for a QME editor to download and work on.
On Wednesday, added some notes to a discussion on <spGrp>
for simultaneous speeches in the meeting notes for tomorrow, and wrote some Schematron
to constrain binary file linking to close out Github issue #114. Then worked on issue
#29 in consultation with NH and JJ, to devise a system which doesn’t involve encoders
making layout decisions, but rather characterizes figures as suitable for floating or
not, and does the allocation of sides at build time so that addition or deletion of
figures in the XML doesn’t throw out the sequence of alternating floats. Also cleared up
some obsolete code and files.
On Thursday, debugged an svn access issue, and worked on the new PDF build for AHDM; we’ve got it building, but it throws up all sorts of new issues with the build process, because it’s structured very differently from the ones we’ve done so far (it has no acts, for example). Project meeting in the afternoon.
On Friday, did some more debugging of the PDF build, and fixed a couple of issues; closed a GH issue on diagnostics, and in the process added more and cleaner constraints on prefix-based linking.
