I’ve now implemented GitHub issue #20, which treats marginal notes as parallel to editorial footnotes. Everything is working on the test pages, and I followed the ticket decision in using a manicule (U+261B BLACK RIGHT POINTING INDEX) for the note marker in the text, but I don’t think that’s actually the right glyph for this purpose, so I’ve left the ticket open and we’ll have some more discussion on it.
Also worked with PS on CSS, which reminds me that I need to revisit and check the documentation for programmers to make sure that it actually does reflect the current state of the project, and provides clear enough guidelines for him to get back into working on the project after an absence without too much confusion. The build process is a bit arcane.
