On Monday, set up EW on another machine. I’ll log here what needs to happen when an RA who needs access to the NFS filesystem starts work on a new machine:

• The script create_ssh_key.sh in the hcmc repository at hcmc/tools needs to be copied to the user’s home directory on the new machine, then chowned to them:netlink, then chmodded to u+x.
• Have the user run that script in the terminal on their machine. That will require that they log into nfs.hcmc.uvic.ca, so of course they must already have been provisioned on that filesystem. It will also involve using Duo MFA.
• Have the user start up FileZilla, and set the login method to Interactive; FileZilla should find and use the key automatically. If this doesn’t happen, then there is another FileZilla login option that enables you to specify the key to use.

Also on Monday, continued working on the presentation, adding some utility code to generate a chart I need, and also backed up the image collection.

On Thursday morning, fixed a build break, and another at the end of the day.
