On Monday, met with AC and MP for a fascinating conversation about periodical literature, digitization and preservation, and Project Endings.
On Tuesday, OCRed English Illustrated 1884, then reworked several of the diagnostics
to take account of the move from
<linkGrp>s to <catRef>s for sonnets. Then
rewrote the overall process to add the capability to run only one or two specific diagnostics
for easier debugging. Then converted the last six issues of English Illustrated to XML.
Then worked on adding a new diagnostic to catch cases of inconsistent rhyme types with the same label, suggested by KF. It finds 282 cases on first run.
On Wednesday, consulted with TNT and set up the home page card and landing page for her Scottish Poetry subcollection. Also created a new card image for a likely Scottish Songs subcollection.
On Thursday, tweaked that setup, which wasn’t quite working properly, and fixed a build break.
