On Tuesday, following BL’s investigation of sonnets, created anthology URLs for the three sets of poems we need to discuss. Fixed a few link-encoding issues out of the nearly 300 found by the latest diagnostic, and added a couple of missing dominant rhyme settings. Then encoded one of the Argosy poems with a drop-cap to get myself familiar again with that encoding.
On Wednesday, focused on the identification and definition(s)
of sonnet forms and genres, leading to some additions to taxonomies.
Also worked on documentation for <teiHeader>
elements which were previously derived entirely from the relational
db but are now being manually edited.
On Thursday, worked with DD and AC on sonnet definitions, and worked through all of Atalanta to see how practical it would be to find other untranscribed sonnets quickly, since we might have a push to encode more of them. Built anthologies of sonnets and near-sonnets from that periodical for us to examine.
On Friday, we had another brief discussion on the book chapter data and on sonnets.
