Over the first weekend, created a module to remove any duplicate linkGrps and ran it after consultation with the team. Remaining duplicated items across non-identical linkGrps will have to be addressed manually.
On Wednesday, added a new diagnostic at AC’s request to find people who might require nationality info/research.
Over the second weekend, rebuilt the Blackwoods TEI metadata and dealt with some fallout, as well as fixing a couple of typos in the linkGrps.
On Tuesday I refreshed the metadata in Chambers, as well as in a couple
of other periodical years with newly-split poems. Then I worked through
all the diagnostic cases where the <pb> count did not
match the page-image count, and fixed those. Also spent a fair amount of
time sorting out timesheet issues for TA (not his fault or mine).
Planned Wednesday meeting was cancelled, but did some metadata generation work.
On Friday, worked with TA to figure out some problems with <linkGrp> ids, and
also added some Schematron to constrain them, and refined the previous id generation code to
be more robust against errors elsewhere in the file.
