Greg and I ran through our material and then conducted and English 500 class on concepts in Markup. JJ will send to us examples of elements in the sonnet that class members have "glossed" and we'll see if we can implement that in the TEI markup schema we have.

The Educational Technology Users Group (instructors, developers, sys-admins) of bccampus wants a one-hour demonstration of Quandary at their annual get-together in Kamloops May 23 - 25.
Middle of week for participants. They will have a concept map (day 1) and Learning Outcomes (day 2) established, will be spending the day on instructional strategies - so my presentation will start with typical outcomes and demonstrate how HotPot can be used to achieve those. Probably about an hour. In day 4 they assemble detailed course plan and then on day 5 present to each other.

Met with Joanne Turcoute to discuss the AP Testing scheduled for May 7th, 12-4, in lab b. We set up a trial run in lab B for April 11, 11-12. This is a Thursday during intersession. We need to get in earlier that week to learn the AP testing function, which I believe will be relatively easy, since it is now a function of the program.

Do a final proofing of the chapter and send it off to Ana.
Put the chapter into OpenOffice (to be saved in Word format, as required -- grrrr), then add all formatting according to instructions on the ReCALL Journal site.
Basically completed 24/01/07: Write the conclusion to the chapter (part 7, the "what ifs").
Finish a first draft of everything except part 7 (yet to be written).
COMPLETED 22/01/07: Each of us should read through the chapter (parts 1 to 6) and highlight all the bits that are incomplete, missing or only in note form.
