Preparatory work on new HotPot exercises for Spanish 100 tests
HotPot files for the Spanish 100B tests for 2007 and 2008 came in last week from NB; they need to be massaged and formatted correctly, then added to the Spanish 100 Tests part of the Hispanital site. I don't yet know the proper order for the elements of each test, so I can't finish this yet, but in the meantime I've worked through all the files fixing the formatting (adding HTML tags for ordered lists, moving instructions from the body to the Instructions field, and so on). I started doing this on Linux, but discovered a bug in the Wine implementation of the RichEdit code, whereby certain edits in JCloze would trigger access violations and render a data file unreadable -- not good -- so I moved to the Windows VM to do the work. As soon as I hear back from NB or RS about the order of items, I'll be able to finish the work and put the results on the Web site.
