Problems in svg data: 12 records contain C path commands which the imap doesn't support; 2 records not in any group. Melanie will fix those before I can create new shape files.

Changed Map - Layers - minimum scale setting for streets from 70% to 50% and clicked update button, but no apparent change in behaviour. Maybe I have to recreate the shape file - will ask Mike and email David.

Emailed David on clarifications on configurations for creating new shape files (management of shape file names and management of groups for layers), as I'd rather not figure this out by trial and error if a few minutes of David's time will save a lot of headaches.
