I emptied the kamap table in the london database in postgres on lettuce, then used the "load annotation file" interface in the imap admin interface to repopulate that database.
I deleted all the obviously unnecessary shape files using the Manage Images feature in the imap admin interface tool.
I then normalized the naming convention (Agas_Label_XXXX and Agas_Feature_XXXX) and recreated the shape files needed and ensured they were derived from the proper chunks of the svg file.
I then used the Map-Layer features in the imap admin tool to ensure that each layer was associated with the appropriate shape files.

I'm now getting the street labels to appear, but when I click on them, I don't get an entry showing up in the "info" box. When I click on the street itself, it seems hit and miss whether I get an entry in the "info" box. If I select a rectangle, then I get an entry for the street (with link to article) and and entry for the label (with no such link) in the "info" box.
