Martin and I had a meeting with the heads of the GRS Department today to go over some of the final changes that should be made to the new GRS website design.

We received approval to replace the current site pending the completion of those changes. So this afternoon I completed the following things with the GRS web site.

• Changed the font sizes from px(pixels) to pt(points) to allow for greater usability for web site vistors that may have disabilities.
• I increased the font size of the page content to mirror that of the main menu.
• Changed Anne-France Morand's web page to reflect new content and corrected a faulty web link found on that page
• Validated an html error present on the included php-based menu system
• Changed how the event's rssreader interpreted the urls from events.uvic.ca
• Moved the employment opportunities link from the department submenu to the main menu
• Added adobe contribute processing tags to the faculty pages
• Reviewed the resource page to ensure that links from the old site were preserved.

The GRS website is completed
