Getting GIS coordinates from a Google map

This is a refinement to this explanation.

Create a new bookmark in Firefox. Call it "Google GIS coordinates". Edit the URL property of the bookmark, and make it this:

javascript:void(prompt('',gApplication.getMap().getCenter()));

Centre the map on what you want the coordinates to (right-click, and select "Center map here").

Click on your bookmark to see the coordinates.
