BdAK came down to me after visiting the dean to say a new Latin American Studies program was being set up (similar to Medieval and Religious studies) and that they'd need an account and a website for the program. The site needs to be up by early in calendar year 2010.
Showed her the Humanities templates provided by the web development office. She thought the body text was too small and the blue and red colour treatment could be improved and the look and feel very corporate.
Asked her to consider the content she'd like to include and possible organizational schemes. She'll get back to me in a week or so and we'll discuss it further.
Put in request for new account. Got that and then put in request for URL http://web.uvic.ca/latinamerican to point the the new account - still waiting for that.
