JS-R has new data he'd like to load into the system, so I've been re-familiarizing myself with it. The key points are these:

• The original citystats db is obsolete.
• The current live site is using citystatsDSN.
• The beta site is using citystatsTNG, which has additional Philadelphia data in it.
• Apart from this, the beta and live sites should be identical.

Updates should be done first on the beta site, then tested; after that, they should be migrated to DSN. Remember to blog the details of all stages of the updates so it's easy to port them to the live site. Back up both dbs before making any changes.
