CityStats: meeting and next phase of project

Met with JD and JS-R. JD will take over the project, and during this semester will rebuild or extend it to add more data and more features. We discussed hosting for development and eventual deployment. For development, JD will probably create a SourceForge project to make it open-source, and use the SF subversion. If I'm a member of the project, I can make minor contributions (such as editing the CSS). For eventual deployment, JD would like a version of Postgres which handles GIS stuff well. We're still working out whether the default Postgres will do, or whether we'll need to install PostGIS; and in the latter case, whether PostGIS will serve all our Postgres needs, or whether we'll need to install two versions.
