Continued with the lecture list, and got as far as 1998, encountering on the way the first instance of a lecture with text available. I found the old HTML 3.Dreadful and converted it to XHTML 1.1, then re-linked all the footnotes -- very tedious. The lecture notes are linked from the lecture list using an <a> tag with class="linkToText", which should enable me to filter lectures on this criterion.
