The Graduate Admissions office emailed to ask about how to "secure" websites based on the examples we'd done for administering the English and PoliSci graduate program applicants. I wasn't totally sure, but took that to mean "require authentication" so I provided basic information on use of htaccess vs more sophisticated options (e.g. database-driven site with accounts and pw's in the db) and when you'd use each.
