First Nations Search
Additional information is available on the First Nations bands that have members recorded in the viHistory census data. The First Nations Search allows you to search and identify individual First Nations bands, as they were identified and enumerated on the 1881 census.
All of the band names (as recorded on the census) are listed near the top of the page. To see all available details about a band, select that band in the drop down list; the details will appear below.
To get a list of the members of the band who were recorded in the 1881, 1891 or 1901 census, click on the band name shown in the details, under "As recorded on census".
