On Tuesday, attended a Stylesheets meeting which was focused on helping people get tests running under Docker. Installed Docker myself (it’s now a snap rather than a deb), and re-learned the basic docker commands. The results are not ideal -- when tests fail and fixes need to be made, of course you need to shell back out to your host system anyway, so it seems pointless to me, but in the case of Windows users it is probably necessary, and perhaps also so for people who don’t want to install a lot of dependencies. But they’re installing docker anyway, and that’s a serious dependency.
On Wednesday, attended the community call Zoom, which dealt with our GIS survey and geo-related encoding among other topics. Then looked at the oxygen-tei repo and found a ticket we must deal with from the Oxy folks, as well as raising an issue of my own about the discrepancy between the folder structure of the Jenkins-built versions of the framework and the Oxy distributed version.
