On Monday, worked with EBB and MS to finalize repos ready for the release on Tuesday; set up release branch jobs on Jenkins. Then when MS finished merging the p5subset and fixing tests, ran my own tests locally and then turned the release branch jobs on. At the same time, worked on the first few slides of my conference presentation.
Tuesday was release day, and even though it started early in Europe, problems were still being overcome when I surfaced. We managed a release within a few hours, but there are still questions to be answered relating to the new server infrastructure, and documentation to be updated. Then worked a little on the workshop we’ll be doing at the TEI conference.
On Wednesday, started looking in detail at the extensive PR from the
linguistic dependency group, which we were unable to merge ahead of
the release due to time constraints. In the process, I found an anomaly
in the way we just or don’t use the @valDesc element, and
raised an issue for that. Also continued working on my conference presentation.
