TEI/ATOP 2026-05-11 to 2026-05-15
to : Martin Holmes
Minutes: 160
On Tuesday, met with HBS and SB as usual to work on ATOP, and in particular
the question of how to handle modifications to elements which have no @attribute,
based on @attribute.
On Thursday, booked my hotel for the TEI Conference (although I haven’t yet booked for the Council meeting after it). Also followed up on a couple of messages on the mailing list.
On Friday, worked with Claude Code on the issue of the proposed class hierarchy for P6; I set it (Sonnet 4.6) the task of analyzing p5subset.xml and proposing a hierarchy with multiple inheritance, and uploaded the results to the sandbox repo we have for P6 work. I burned a lot of tokens, but I think the results are interesting enough to be worth it, and may form the basis of my paper at the conference.
