On Monday, devised a method of encoding the English headings inside
entries, and preserving all of them in the merged entries. Then I generated
the actual English-based listings as TEI <linkGrps>s with
pointers to the merged entries. So I think we now have a good TEI representation
of the data which will be a good starting point for the next edition of the
dictionary.
On Wednesday, integrated the dictionary pre-blurb, and then started looking at how we might integrate the singular/plural appendix. This is quite awkward for various reasons, and I’ve sent three questions to SK.
