Got some rendering change requests from SK on Monday, and started work on them. First inserted a new appendix built from singular-plural example data. This was problematic because unpredictable whitespace is being used to group pairs together; in the end, I just rendered all content rows as they appear, after discovering there was no reliable way to detect sing/plu pairs from the spreadsheet data.
After that, worked on a new FR for the placename appendix: it’s now grouped by region/area headwords.
On Tuesday, cleaned up some presentational issues reported by SK in the placename appendix, and then began to address the issue of how to better format the singular-plural listing; with some fierce regexes I refactored the spreadsheet so that it lists singular and plural together in one row, and SK will now take that back to them to see if they’re OK with switching to that. If they are, then we can more easily build a worthwhile output format for this appendix.
