Created a template file and updated it to use nested elements as Jentery requested. Updated the schema to match. Jentery and his RAs came in earlier in the week and got to experiment with the encoding. They said they will try to encode a small number of entries and will then discuss some schema tweaks (and, presumably, template tweaks to follow).
I’ve asked Jentery whether he wants ’None’ as an option in any of the controlled vocabularies or if we should simply leave elements blank/delete them and treat that as a none value in processing. I would lean towards the latter but there may be reasons for him to prefer the former in some cases.
