On Monday, set up the service account for pressrecord in the identity manager and raised a ticket to get the home1t account set up. The service account is set to run two years before renewal is required, and I also asked on the ticket for other HCMC folks to be added as owners of the account (the identity manager won’t let me do that). Also downloaded the sample media files and confirmed they are standard MP4/H264/AAC files which will present no problems for HTML5 players.
On Tuesday, set up the GH repo for the project, and discussed with JS by email what our workflow should be. Systems says they’re working on the ticket to create the project directory.
On Wednesday, MM sent the project outline to JS.
On Thursday, continued discussions with JS and IN. Started building out the project structure (build files, libs, etc.) while we wait to know what XML format we’ll be using.
