On Monday, met with PAB and discussed the future options for archiving the site.
As a result of this, and the outage that happened over the weekend, I added a new
target to the build file called makeArchive. This retrieves all the
images and the site content from the NFS server, and rewrites all the links to images
so that they’re local (in the live site, they’re not, because they cross a subdomain
boundary for historical and convenience reasons). Then it creates a zip archive of
the whole site, which I’ve now published on Zenodo. This gives us a complete working
archive of a release, suitable for LOCKSS.
On Tuesday, fixed some typos from my fixes to URLs yesterday, and then debugged a build issue with PAB.
On Friday, migrated the project to staticSearch 2.0 along with some others.
