Spent several hours at the weekend trying to work around the orthographical sorting issues in the language, but I don’t believe there is a workable solution, so on Monday I reverted all those attempts and just defaulted to sorting on the first word in the phrase. Nothing else seems practical. Then other problems arose which were unfixable without impacting other parts of the site such as the regular entry listing. I’ve had to stop work for the moment because this is taking too long and I have too many other things that need to be completed before my vacation.
On Friday, came back to the problem and mostly solved it, but there are two or three issues still to finish. Still aiming to release early next week.
