On Monday, some discussion and fixes to diagnostics; on Tuesday, tweaked the rendering so that if an entry has no definition but has a note instead, the note is displayed in lieu of the definition in the Nxa-En listing page.
On Wednesday, tweaked that fix to include all notes, not just a single note when there are multiples.
On Thursday, tweaked that fix again per SK to make sure that if there’s an editorial note, that will get displayed. Then spent some time looking into the rather obscure rendering issue reported on the PDF, which I think is not a rendering problem but a missing component in a feature structure. Discussed this and other issues with SK, and then made a number of fixes to the PDF rendering which I think are now complete.
On Friday morning, looked at the issue of prefixes and suffixes for affixes in the site rendering, which is all controlled by CSS; nothing was included for reduplicants, so I’ve added that, but there was be more tweaking to do here, as we still were not seeing exactly the same output there as in the PDF. It turned out that the website code had no notion of allomorphs with different feature structure components, so I had to retrofit that sensitivity into various places in the build. Eventually everything seemed to be working properly, and I’ve also added proper renderings of each of the allomorphs forming part of the headword on the full entry rendering, which needed doing anyway.
