On Monday, did a lot of prep for the first Names Committee meeting, and then
attended the meeting. On Tuesday, implemented the first step in merging two places
at build time, by adding @corresp to the subordinate place, and building
a single page for it.
On Wednesday, I extended the place-merging code throughout the build process, so we can merge two places with one attribute in the placeography, and no changes to the data itself, allowing us to experiment and change our minds as we work. Published a new version to the dev site.
On Thursday, worked with KH and GN to decide on the initial batch of place mergers, then encoded those and published a new version of the site.
